Over the years I decided to gradually make lifestyle changes due to being exposed to human suffering, illness and chronic diseases on a daily basis. I have watched and cared for patients that succumbed of diseases that may only be prevalent in the Western world and I simply felt that there was another way to live healthfully into old age. I work in the health care industry, and found that while encouraging and educating patients to better their health, I found that this may only be further encouraged if I adopted a healthy diet myself.
Over time, I have watched many documentaries, read some books and the research evidence compelled me to change my habits and my diet to one with more fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains and seeds; A.K.A fibre <3
